Bio

I am an applied microeconomist with research interests in areas of food, nutrition, health, and human development in the context of poverty and economic development.  Currently my research focuses on early childhood development and the mechanisms linking early childhood well-being to later life outcomes.  I am also currently researching the effects of personality, cognition and shocks on educational and labor market outcomes in Africa.
