Curriculum vitae


Usamah Wasif is a PhD student in economics at the University of New Mexico (UNM). His research interests include public, health, and the economics of higher education finance, with particular emphasis on the impact of SNAP (food stamp) participation on health and education outcomes. He also researches price elasticity of college enrollment using UNM admissions and enrollment data. Usamah earned an MA in economics from San Diego State University and a BA in accountancy and economics from the University of Aberdeen.
