Economics Celebrates Class of 2026!

The Department of Economics recognized 24 new Bachelor’s, eight Master’s and three new Ph.D. degree holders at a spirited convocation ceremony on Friday.

UNM Regent Cristina Campos received the 2026 Department of Economics Distinguished Alumna Award and gave the convocation address, in which she encouraged students to “be bold, think critically, and approach problems with both heart and creativity.” Read the full address here.
