egsoevent-fa22.jpgThe Economics Graduate Student Organization (EGSO) with the University of New Mexico strives to promote student success by providing resources to help with data collection and conference attendance. EGSO serves as a network base for students to communicate about the significance of economics and its role in the modern world and to develop a community of scholars dedicated to academic achievement and professional development. The organization assists graduate students in acquainting themselves within and outside their community, by providing information and assistance in such programs as UNM’s Community Enrichment Center, Graduate Resource Center (GRC), Student Health & Counseling (SHAC). Graduate and Professional Student Association (GSPA), etc.

UNM Economics Club

UNM Undergraduate Economics Club is a student-run organization that provides a general social gathering place for economics students and students interested in economics. It offers regular public lectures on economics topics, a forum for discussion of economic topics and opportunities in the field of economics, and a space for forming study groups of economic topics or economics classes.

All are welcome. Membership is free and open to all UNM students, regardless of major.

  • How to join: Come to a meeting and sign up! We send meeting announcements through email. Majors and minors automatically receive emails. If you are not a major or minor and are interested, please contact Econ club VP Jonah Cipolla at jcipolla@unm.edu  or the Undergraduate Director, creiser@unm.edu to be added to the list.
  • Meeting date/time: Typically, every other Wednesday at 5pm in ECON 1052. Be sure to read emails about upcoming meetings.
