Economics Students to Intern at TRD

The department signed an MOU with the New Mexico State Tax and Revenue Department (TRD) to collaborate on an internship program. TRD will offer Spring and Summer internships for reporting on “tax expenditures” (foregone revenue from tax credits and rebates) and for contributing to the annual tax revenue forecast under the supervision of the Chief Economist, Lucinda Sydow.
