Ifeoluwa Olofinsao is a first-year PhD student in the Department of Economics at the University of New Mexico. She received her bachelor’s degree in Forestry and Wildlife Management from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria.

Her research interests include environmental and resource economics, with an emphasis on climate change. She is particularly interested in applying economic analysis to environmental and climate-related challenges, especially in developing and global contexts.

In 2025, she was recognized as one of the Top 10 African Youth Voices in Climate Health Innovation, reflecting her engagement in climate-focused research and advocacy
